African Americans are only 13% of the American population but represent almost half of innocent defendants wrongfully convicted of crimes and later exonerated since 1989.
The next someone says blacks *commit* more crime, you might let them know how often blacks are later exonerated (sometimes over a decade of prison later). It may be a balance of the two factors with a bit of denial of employment, education, and access to credit thrown in.
Blacks may commit crimes more often.. or they may simply be arrested and framed more often.
In any case, of all later exonerated of murder charges, half are black.
Chicago has played $662 million dollars for police misconduct since about 1995.
Lol. includes another example of police framing someone *on camera* and then starting the camera without realize the camera records all the time and starts the recording 30 seconds before the start button is pushed.
