So, I’ve got now got all the expansions, and the big black box, my question is what is the best way to organise all the cards into the big drawers?

Currently I’ve grouped difficulty, and then sorted alphabetically within the grouping, which makes it easier to pick decks based on who is playing.

Other thoughts are just straight alphabetical, or grouped by expansion. Any other thoughts or ideas out there?

I've been doing straight alphabetical so far and don't think it will change with the new case. Also, can you provide a picture of the case with all the cards in it? Additionally, does it seem like it is strong and will hold up with all the cards for the foreseeable future?

I think sorting any way other than alphabetically is a huge mistake.

The only exception I could possibly see making is segregating third-party content, like The Cauldron... But even then, that seems like a pretty big mistake to me.

Will the collectors case be able to fit all the cards if sleeved?

Heh, I haven't sleeved them *yet*, but want to know my options if I get the case.

Haven't gotten mine yet (label generated though). My plan all along has been to go straight alphabetical. Nothing else makes logical sense to me. If I can fit my Cauldron cards in, then I'll probably stick them in the alpha order as well. I'm hoping they fit as I've sleeved with KMC Perfect Fits, so only added about 30% to the overall thickness.

I've heard the Cauldron does fit, but that doesn't yet account for Adrift, so we'll see...

Guhh, I can't imagine hauling this thing around. @_@

All cards sleeved do fit.
With penny sleeves.
Wouldn't bet on it with premium sleeves. No way double-sleeved cards fit IMO. I haven't got that much room left.
That's without Cauldron. I only have official content.

I actually play* with my 7 y.o. son, my 6 y.o. daughter and my 4 y.o. son.
Now, I won't say I'd play with *any* 6 y.o., but still...

*By "play", I mean "tell stories using the pictures on the cards". My older son might be ready to play real SotM games sooner than later; I guess it would also help him learn english a bit (french is our primary language).

Edit: typo

My son had wanted to play since he was 5. I told him that he could play when I didn't have to read the cards to him... He went into overdrive on the reading lessons, and was fully capable of reading and understanding the game play at 6. He is now 8, and this is one of his favorite games.

That's awesome! My 6 year old daughter showed interest while I was organizing my SotM into the box. She insisted on helping and wanted to look at the cards. I told her once she can read, she can play. She's already moving quickly in that direction anyway, but I'll happily throw in an additional incentive. The timing is good, too--the 13 year old is getting tougher to drag to the table (teenager switch got flipped and now it's not so cool to hang with dad & game more often than not cry ).
