Hi,

Seeing the fact that a lot of Kickstarter games are looking for translation, I was wondering if the Spanish langage was a great market in the US. I am just a gamer (French) wondering if tabletop gaming and Kickstarter tabletop gaming in Spanish are very representative or not in the US. I cannot find any statistics on that point, other then video gaming that isn’t the same entertainment.

If you have informations on this point, thanx in advance.

I live in Texas and I would have to say no. I think that most of the Spanish speakers are mostly bilingual and can read/understand English.

My librarian wife is saying you should email libraries and ask about Spanish language books and ask them about their circulation. This might give you a good idea of how many are reading in Spanish. Try large US cities with heavy Spanish-Latin populations - Dallas, Miami, NYC, LA...
