just wondering if the 'return fire' capability really
enables a unit to fire back as often as it is attacked?
during our first play of 'Ayn Jalut', the Mamluks showered
a single Mongol HC with five volleys from five different
missile units. the HC return fired five times. did we do
that right? those mongols would've fired five times the
arrows their enemies did - seems a bit strange to me.
another question we stumbled upon is the cavalry charge.
even a Cataphract HC unit doesn't get any special
momentum bonus when thundering into combat, does it? we
wondered why that is? is the mandatoy pre-shock TQ-check
meant to simulate the effect of receiving a charge? but
why does the charging unit has to take the test too, then?
you can return fire as much as you want
