I have a cigar: Once pet adventure, prevent all damage done to you from a single source.

What's a single source?
In sob, you can prevent dmg from a single hit, an attack.
But a source?

Can I use the cigar to prevent all dmg from a brutal bandit who hit me with all is hits?
Is the bandit a source?

He is, you can. Source is explained in the Glossary of the adventure book.

Adventure book glossary:

Quote:
Source – One specific thing that is causing an effect. This could
be an Event Chart roll, a single Enemy, an Encounter card, etc.
Something that prevents all Damage from a single Source will
prevent one instance of taking that Damage.

(My emphasis.)

Does single enemy mean single enemy “model” or single enemy “group”?

If I’m getting attacked 2 damage from one Void Spider and 4 damage from another, which of the following is true:

A. ignore 4 damage from single spider (damage recieved is 2 from remaining spider)

B. Ignore all damage from both spiders (damage recieved is 0)

And to be fair to MissElby, the rulebook PDF always talks about the enemies activating and attacking as a group, and encouraging players to roll all their defense dice in one roll so they can use Grit for a re-roll. You can't do that if you have to track damage from a single source.
