Is this game good enough with just two players? Is the experience worth it?
Well speaking for me and my wife and I, I'd say hell yeah. You're realy not limited by the number of players. All that more players means is more areas on the table at any one time.
However, since you can always seek new horizons out of the discard pile as well as the draw pile that means you can bringing into play new or old areas at will.
Limiting the areas to twice the number of players just increases the odds of player confrontation which is a good thing.
This game is sorta like Dungeoneer without all the finnicky rules. And unlike Dungeoneer there is LOTS of player interaction.
