Hey Everyone

It's official. My lovely wife, Jules, and I have just adopted player number four (child #2).
Samantha Rahne Johnson (Thank you for the middle name skelebone!) was born on Saturday 9/1/07
and we obtained adoptive custody of her on Friday.

Other than the impending future plays of Barbie Princesses and the sleep interuptions, everything is fantastic.

Two more and I'll have a full contingent of 6...

I thought my weather suggestions for middle names were more along the lines of Sirocco, Typhoon, and Low-Pressure Cold Front.

'Gratz!

Yup. Both my children are adopted. Elias ( ee-lie-us) would rather have a kickity kickball (wow wow wubzy reference) or a big brother, but he likes her alright.

I think he's still mad we didn't name her Franklin.

I'll throw up a pic tonight.

This is Eli.

I'll take Manhattan in a garbage bag. With Latin written on it that says "It's hard to give a shit these days"

Six is a bad number for gaming most of the time. If I were you, I'd either get one kid taken by social services so that you can get a good game of El Grande, or get yourself one more kid, and move to Diplomacy.

Just adopt two more and you can do two tables of four each for gaming.

Jesus, how old was that kid when you adopted him? And who's the little squirt on the right?

As grey traces of dawn tinge the eastern sky, the three travellers, men of Willowdale, emerge from the forest's shadow. Fording the river, they turn south, journeying into the dark and forbidding lands of The Necromancer...

Congratulations, indeed!

Me and the missus adopted Genius No. 1 and Genius No. 2 around six years ago and it was the best decision we ever made (especially since they are now both approaching that magical "ages 12 and up" category for game play). Naturally, my wife got pregnant with Genius No. 3 around a month after the adoption was finalized. And there is absolutely nothing like having a princess to dote on. You are a very blessed man and a blessing to your daughter, too.
