Has anyone tried this as a two player game?
Are there any changes to the two player game? I'm concerned it will be too open without any.

Rahdo has a 2p run down, I recommend you go watch the video. It might answer some of your questions.

Rhado doesn't specific mention it, but you can see several spots with Black tokens on them.

A lot of the options are for +3 or 4 players. I guess a 2p game should be tight too.

In a two player game some action spaces on the building board are closed.
You have also less national contract.

I'm so close to going all in with this game however I'm concerned with the two player count (as I play most with two players). Can we get some additional details or have some folks play it with two players for their thoughts?

Thanks!

I played a two player game and I thought that with two player is a little tight because some areas are locked for two players.
I think is the same problem with Tzolk'n.

And as far as I understood from the video chat yesterday, it will be also possible (not mandatory) to add an automa to simulate a third player if we want. It has been developed for the solo mode (335000€ Tesla stretch goal) but works in fact from 1 to 3 players. It might be interesting to see if it is convenient to use and adds some replayability.
But first of all, we have first to unlock this stretch goal...

Hello guys, me and Giuliano just completed a 2 player full playthrough, you can have a look on the KS page. I apologize in advance for the overall video quality (we'll try to have another session live from Essen next week) but I hope you can figure out both the game flow and the high interaction level even in 2 players!

Let us know what do you think

From the video, the resources from the Company Board are awarded when revealed and in the income phase.

From the rules draft, it's not implied you should receive it before the Income Phase.

Was the video on KS page correct? Did i miss it in the rules?

The playthrough is correct, players get the bonus immediately AND as income at the start of each new round. I'll check the draft and fix it

Also from the video, in the last round, both players had their markers at 30 energy production, and both took 8 coins.

But the rules read: "Each player wins the number of HyCU credits shown on the space where their energy token is on the energy track."

Which is right? Is the player suppose to take coins shown on the last space crossed?
