Evo = Latin for “no more dinosaurs”!

The five dinosaur brains trying to establish a dominant herd were Heather, Darren, Ashton, Steve and Jerry. The first two rounds saw Heather scoop a tail and a parasol, Steve a fur and an egg, Jerry a leg and a fur, Darren a fur and a card and Ashton – two horns! Two horns is OK, except he was headed in my direction! As expected, one of my dinosaurs succumbed to his aggressive herd.

Steve managed to procure three eggs. Everyone but Ashton possessed at least two eggs and two legs by turn 7. Lack of these items was beginning to hurt Ashton’s chances at survival. An aggressive herd is not much help with only one leg.

Turn eight saw Steve and Darren put a gap of 3 – 4 points between them and the rest of the herds.

Turn nine saw the first meteor roll. Steve was hopeful the meteor would hit as he was one point ahead of Darren. However, bad weather was the only result. Turn ten saw Darren grab the lead by two points over Steve, and the meteor roll was catastrophic, causing the meteor to crash into the earth and end life as the dinosaurs knew it.

Finals: Darren 41, Steve 39, Jerry 36, Heather 35, Ashton 32

Ratings: Heather 8, Darren 7.5, Steve 7, Ashton 7, Jerry 6
