hi,

i konw from the rules, that when u stop upon or fly through an obstacle its effect needs to be applied to the miniature.

My Q is: When i fly by a obstacle closely, do i only have to check if the thin movement template touches the obstacle template? Or do i have to slide the minuature base alongside the movement template to check if the fly by will touch the obstacle?

thx,
uspec

You only check if your movement template and the end position of your ship touch the obstacle.

Also, you never slide the ship along the template. It's picked up from the back and placed at the front.

If your ship's final position would overlap or come in contact with another ship then you would slide the ship back along the template until the ship was no longer touching the other ship. This could cause the ship to then end up touching an obstacle in its new final position.
