I hear that Theresa is already doing a bit of backtracking on when she's going to give up being a leader.

And, against Brexiteers, she's got powerful political logic on her side.

After a 52%/48% victory for Brexit "the Will of the Voters" must prevail for many years, according to Moggsy etc.

Yet now Moggsy feels she should be kicked out immediately for a 67%/33% victory???

In another thread I quoted a tweet from a political commenter who had the same conclusion:

I heard that at first she was afraid, then she was petrified.

Jacob Rees-Mogg leaves Westminster after failing to oust PM.

Saw an interview with JRM on the BBC last night with a bag of crisps. She was quite harsh on him.

I predict that Theresa will win in the end.

So, who came over as the more intelligent of the two? Jacob Rees-Mogg or the bag of crisps?

JRM's vision of the future for the UK is basically the Old Testament, but with fortnightly bin-collections.

Do you know, I hate to say this but Jacob Rees-Mogg has got a point.
If you sail through life with a serene self-confidence then why shouldn’t you determine who wins a game.

Moggsy Wins at Football

Moggsy “Resounding victory for us.”
Everyone else “But you’ve just lost 7 – 0.”
Moggsy “Not according to our DUP referee. He had us win”

Moggsy Wins at Cricket

Moggsy “It’s a draw so I win.”
Opponents “But it’s only a draw because you pulled the stumps up.”
Moggsy “They’re my stumps.”

Moggsy’s Exclusive Dining Club

Moggsy “You can’t join.”
Applicant “But 9 out of 10 of the committee-members wanted me.”
Moggsy “Hard luck old chap. One member black-balled you.”

Moggsy Playing Diplomacy

Moggsy “I win.”
Kibitzers “But you’ve just been eliminated.”
Moggsy “So what. I held England for longest.”

Theresa May is the human equivalent of herpes. She appeared suddenly and unexpectedly, no one asked for her, no one wants her and no one can find a way to get rid of her. I would not be surprised if she turns out to be the first ever immortal.

The crisps decided to undergo the inevitable in silence and with dignity.

We only have to wait for someone, who claims her to be the Black Knight.
