I haven't played Epic much yet, but I have come up with a number of drafting formats for 2 players. Wonder what others think of them?

Double Dark Draft: Dark Draft, but packs of 10 and only 5 packs per player. Pick 3, pass pack, pick 3, burn remaining 4 cards. A more casual drafting format, and goes a lot faster. Decks also tend to be higher power/more color focused.

Rochester Draft: Not really new, but translated to epic.
The players are Player A and Player B.
Start with the set of cards shuffled as a deck.
Player A lays out 10 cards from the top of the deck, and picks one.
Player B Picks two. 7 cards left
Player A Picks two. 5 cards left
Player B Picks one. 4 cards left
Put the 4 remaining cards in a central discard "burned" pile.
Player B now lays out the next pack, which follows the same pattern but B is now A and A is now B.
This continues for a total of 10 packs.
Allows for some nice hate drafting, though slower then dark draft.

Trash Draft: Sorta like Rochester in reverse.
The players are Player A and Player B.
Start with the set of cards shuffled as a deck.
Player A lays out 10 cards from the top of the deck.
Player A now picks one card, flipping it over*.
Player B flips over one card. 8 cards left
Player A flips over one card. 7 cards left
Player B Picks one. 6 cards left
Player A Picks two. 4 cards left
Player B Picks two. 2 cards left
Player A picks one. 1 card left
Put the 4 remaining cards in a central discard "burned" pile.
Player B now lays out the next pack, which follows the same pattern but B is now A and A is now B.
This continues for a total of 10 packs.

*flipped cards are not pickable, and discarded at the end of the round.

Basically drafting with a ban round before picking. Leads to a much lower power level... most of the time. It removes meta deforming cards like muse/plucker/sea titan/kong/ect. Also boosts Good significantly, as good cares about synergy and has a lot of pretty bad cards. I find it fairly satisfying.

I think they would all work fine.
