Green Bay 0 10 7 14 - 31
Pittsburgh 3 3 0 0 - 6

The Green Bay Packers had been looking for a win since week # 5 and they would finally get some things to roll there way in the last place thought possible.

A terrible day in Pittsburgh with freezing cold, wind and snow. The Packers started cold and it looked liked it would be more of the same as they went three and out on there first possession. The Packers would get the first of some breaks there way when Pittsburgh return man Eli Rogers would fumble and Jeff Janis would recover and return to the Steelers 13. As they have done with most of the opportunities this season the Packers squandered it on the first play when Aaron Rodgers was picked off in the end zone by Artie Burns.
Leveon Bell would get the Steelers offense going when on his first carry he rushed for 29 yards. The Steelers moved the ball into Packer territory where the drive would stall and Chris Boswell's field goal attempt would be blocked by Jake Ryan. The Steelers would get a late first quarter field goal and lead at the end of the first 3-0.

The Packers would scrap most of there game plan and start a running back by committee coupled with a short passing game to attempt to compensate for the adverse conditions. Ty Montgomery would score the first of his 3 touchdowns on the day with a 7 yard pass from Rodgers for a 7-3 lead. The Steelers offense seemed liked the Packers of the last 5 weeks as they could not get anything to roll there way. Antonio Brown would be held to 3 receptions on the day for only 8 yards. Leveon Bell would be the work horse for the Steelers this afternoon with 16 carries for 68 yards and 5 receptions for 71. He would not find the end zone however and a Mason Crosby 44 yard field goal would put the Packers up 10-3. Ben Rothlesberger orchestrated a nice drive before the end of the half to get the Steelers in range for a Boswell 37 yard field goal. Packers led 10-6 at the half.

The Steelers opening drive in the second looked like the offense was finding there stride. They marched down the snowy field and into position for another Boswell field goal attempt from 41 yards but again Jake Ryan of the Packers would get his second block on the day. Ryan had a great day with the 2 blocks, 6 tackles that included one for a loss. Later in the 3rd Aaron Rodgers would find running back Jamaal Williams on a screen pass for 43 yards that would set up another Packer touchdown. Rodgers would scramble in from 2 yards out and give the Pack a 17-6 lead at the end of three.

The Packers defense got after Ben Rothlesberger sacking him 4 times on the day, 3 of them by Mike Daniels. Bell would be held to 68 yards rushing and overall the Steelers were held to 319 yards of total offense.

The Packers leaned heavily on the running game to keep the Steelers offense on the sidelines. Rodgers would only attempt 24 passes while running game would rack up 162 yards on 44 carries. Ty Montgomery would score on runs of 3 and 4 yards in the 4th and give the Packers a surprising 31-6 victory in Steel town.
