People are allowed to smoke in bars and casinos (but not restaurants). It sucks. Unless you smoke, in which case, I don't like you.

Since everything in Vegas is so big, it all looks like it is close by.
So you are on the Strip and you see a casino "just down the road" and think that you can walk it. 20 minutes later you arrive.

If you haven't been to Vegas before, check out Fremont St.

There's not enough bleach in the world to wash my eyes of what I've seen there.

(In short, Fremont St. is gross.)

Or close to an hour.

You sound like a poor traveling companion.

I'm not planning on spending much time in casinos. Bars maybe? I don't smoke so you'd like me.

So maybe I'll skip Fremont?

Fremont St is where the old casinos are and where the party is. If you like people watching, there's more to watch there than on the strip.

Fremont street is actually fairly nice and interesting BEFORE DARK. I would even recommend it. Just don't be there when the sun goes down unless you want to claw your eyes out and hide under a rock.
