When playing solo, you have very few actions between ancients turns, as there is only one human player token on the time track.
As a result, the end game can be very brutal and you can't do much excepted fight the creatures and hope for the best.

With 2 or 3 players, in the end game you have 2 or 3 times more actions between ancient's turns, so you can not only fight, but make few other things like reinforcing, keep building.
But playing 2 or 3 hands in solo is a little bit annoying.

So here is the idea:
- play solo, single hand
- But use two (or three) tokens for the human on the time track, starting from the position for 2 (or 3) players on the time track.
- victory if you score 2 (or 3) times the ancient's score.

When playing an action for the human player, pick and move one of the 2 (or 3) tokens. Ancient play like in the regular game, when no human tokens behind.

What do you think?

Hello Julien,

I think the solo game is pretty well balanced with objectives points (about 15 or 20 potential points) and that you start at the beginning of the time track.
Furthermore, it's easier to planify and rationalize actions when you are alone on the map (no fight for resources).

Salut Denis!
I did not want to say the solo game is unbalanced or anything.

I just regret it is tighter than a 2 or 3 players coop, because in solo you have usually 1 action to perform between ancients' turns, while in a 3 players coop, the team has 3 actions between ancients' turns.
It is not a question of balance, just a question of possibilities and choices.
There is often more choices for a 3 players team to make their turn in the end-game than in the solo mode, and as a result the game is "meatier".

So the idea is to play something similar to the 2 or 3 players coop mode, but with only one hand to keep the book keeping low like in the solo mode.
