Just got the game and trying to get a handle on rules before getting it out on table.

1. This may be a silly question, but is there any significance to the darker blue shade for three of the blue territories? I haven't found anything in the rules or on the cards, but easily could have missed something (especially with the Power cards).

2. With the Gray Faction, each revolt is "seperate" with the yellow die or dice on a card only used for the revolt on that card -- does this mean the Jewish Faction player can't move Gray units from different revolts into the same territory? It seems that this would be confusing in terms of keeping up with which units are associated with each card. To a lesser extent, if the Gray units from a particular revolt split up and move around the map, it may be difficult to keep track of which units are linked with each card (if there are multiple revolts).

3. If the Jewish Faction player spends a die to move Gray Faction units, can the die be used to move Gray units from more than one revolt?

Great questions! Also don’t forget the SotE Instructional video on YouTube.

1. In general, no difference. There are a few objectives that use the color difference. The regions are also denoted by white symbols.

2. Moving gray factions is not strictly prohibited, but you cannot exceed more than 6 gray units in a territory. As a general rule, it is easier to keep them separated.

3. Assuming this is the one blue die they are spending, they can divide up the movement between multiple gray factions. One gray factions yellow die cannot be used to move another gray faction.

Hope you enjoy the game!
