Hi everyone! I just got into the game recently, and I have a 2nd edition core set. I believe this box is smaller than the 1st edition, because I have heard the card inserts etc don't work because the cards do not stand upright. Right now, I have a few bags holding the cards within the box. However, if I can get my hand on some adventure packs/expansions, I will probably need to adjust this.

How do you store your (sleeved) cards. Are there 2nd edition tips, or is a binder/card boxes the best way to go?

I use a card storage box. If you get into the game and start buying expansions you will quickly outgrow the box no matter what you do. There are after market inserts available, but I can't imagine them lasting long as the collection grows.

After some trial and error, I went with this.

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000K41E6K/ref=oh_aui_sear...

Happy with the result many expansions later.

Does this fit sleeved cards? I am okay keeping it in a separate box.

Yes the older box was larger -- typical board game box cube sized like Eldrich Horror, Runebound, Dead of Winter, Legends of Andor, etc.

The major options for storage with organization (beyond baggies) are:

Keep buying cores and Broken Token/Go7 inserts
* Eventually you going to run out of room
* "Looks nice on shelf"

Big Wooden Custom Box
* Really expensive
* Looks nice
* Probably really damn heavy

Hobby Lobby Artist Box with Broken Token/Go7 insert
* Holds a lot of cards
* Usually can get deals on the Artist Box

BCW Card Boxes
* Really cheap
* Lots of different options of sizes
* Tuck in style really secure if dropped
* No style, just a white box unless decorated

Binders
* Lots of choices from office supply store D-rings (NEVER O RINGS!!!) with pages to gaming binders (mostly fixed pages)
* Good for player cards, not great for most people for scenario cards
* Gaming binders usually look nice, office binders can be blinged with art work in cover folders
* Non fixed paged binders can take other binder pages to store rules, scenario sheets, etc.

Myself I do D-ring binders from Office Max with Ultra Pro Platinum Pages for the player cards. Scenario cards are in BCW boxes, which I am moving to a BCW card hotel with lids.

This is more or less what I do, too.

I use the art work for the binder that Master of Lore designed:

Use this for card storage:

Lots of choices with BCW boxes. Some people like the big boxes to store everything, some just like to store a single cycle in a smaller box. Also, depending on your divider style you might want a vertical top-loader style box, as lots of the horizontal boxes do not provide much visible space on a divider, especially if cards are sleeved. There are dividers with bend back tabs or make your own bend back for horizontal boxes.

BCW card boxes are easy cheap storage. If you're looking for sturdier (vertical) storage, look for Cards Against Humanity: The Bigger, Blacker Box on sale. Binders are useful but take up a lot of space and can be less portable than a consolidated collection. Many people have purchased Hobby Lobby Artist Cases which are great for horizontal or vertical storage. Finally, if you keep an eye out at thrift stores or online, you may be able to find wooden wine presentation boxes. The kind for 2-3 bottles are terrific for storing card games.

I also use BCW boxes. I recommend the Ryno and Ryno style vertical XL dividers if you go that route.

I ended up picking a BCW box for cheap at my FLGS and printed out the Ryno dividers. They only had the horizontal boxes, but it is working great for me so far. Thanks for the help!

Do the Ryno dividers work in BCW boxes without bending the dividers?

I guess I could print out a test page and see

It looks like there is a little more room in the vertical boxes, for mine, they are a little too big, but I was able to trim them to where you could still see most of the important symbols and fit into the box. However, it isn't as easy browsing as it would if they fit better.
