I think I'm missing something bloody obvious, but where do you find weapon range?

There is no range. If a figure can see another, it can shoot it. Except for grenades, which are described in their section of the rules.

Some characters also have listed in their notes that they can only attack 1 space away. Other than that, if you can sees it, you can shoots it! Actually much more realistic than any other firearms based combat system. Most guns have a HELL of a range.

There is no range for weapons unless otherwise stated by their card (such as those figures using the energy sword).

However, as a reminder, you do get a -3 penalty for moving more than 4 spaces before attacking. Also, when throwing a grenade, you are throwing at the space, not the figure, and the spaces' defense is 12; +1 for every space you are away from the target space.

This is why terrain is so important in this game. It will force many figures to move for line of sight, perhaps enough to even incur penalty.

Otherwise the lack of range was to speed up the pace of the game, which it does brilliantly.

On a side note, line of sight is also different for this game than the other clix games. You can have line of sight diagonally, even if there are two adjacent figures. In heroclix, this would have blocked line of sight.
