Looking for easy games for casuals at a church on Friday.

They seem to like Hive Mind, Invisible type games. Easy to learn and play but still challenging.

Sorry I am in a hurry and don't have a lot of time to research.

Telestrations: 12 Player Party Pack is a ton of fun and can accommodate lots of players.

The Mind - fun little game, but can only be played with up to 4.

Diamant - I haven't actually played it, it just seems like it might fit the bill. Co-op, plays up to 8. Get in, grab the loot, get out style game.

Some games that are easy to learn, but require some thought:

When I Dream - the challenge comes in the three roles assigned

Codenames - coming up with clues that reference the right cards requires some thought

Magic Maze - silently communicating while moving pieces through the mall

Codenames is a great party game for 4 to 12 players (play in teams)

Sushi Go Party! is great for up to 8 players

Oh Hell! can be played with 7 (or more) players. You just need a standard deck of cards. Fine for anyone familiar with trick taking games and what a trump suit is.

I suggest Cartagena (2000), now sold as Cartagena (2017). Play a card to move a pawn forward on the board. Move a pawn backward to gain more cards. Quickly learn how to leap-frog other pawns to move forward faster.
