Hi I guess I am what might be considered a casual wargamer. I tend to play at the level of No Retreat, Storm Over Stalingrad, The Hunters. I like to play solo and F2F. I am drawn to AD as the theme is excellent and after giving up on the flawed North Cape game want to find a suitable alternative to scatch the same itch. I jnow it is rated as 4 on BGG complexity but how suitable would this game be for someone at my level of ezperience? Alao can I learn it solo? Thanks for any thoughts.

The game is not too complex, but it has a lot of hidden movement and fog of war rules that make it hard to play solo as a challenging game experience - you simply know where all the ships and dummies are.
