Hi guys,

I encoutered this problem when we play with more than 2 players :
The combat system is heavy : you need to grow and move then loose as many token than your opponent to win ... nothing.

Loosing 1 turn (you take a move action and loose the tokens you earn in grow) even if you destroy a village seems useless when all other opponents benefit of your action.

So no one wants to attack, even when we know who shall win with his villages (why me ? attack if you want)

We think about one of two of this additionnal rules :
- Earning 1 or 2 victory points if you destroy a village
- Reduce (how many ?) the amount of tokens lost in combat for the winner
- Make the looser loosing victory points (as we do with elder)
- The winner gets a chance to win the village of the looser (roll a dice, for exemple, a sun you win it)

Does anyone already feel like us about the combats ?

Thanks

Ooh a little higher, now a bit to the left, a little more, a little more, just a bit more. Oooh yes, that's the spot!

I'm interested in this particular topic. I love the game, but my playing group feels like the cons overweight the pros when it comes to fighting other players.
