Without a specific example, I don't think there is any in Crossfire.

I was sooooo sooo wrong about this. Guess it's been too long since I've played if I forgot that Flipped was a core game mechanic. blush

Can you share where you're seeing these terms (card names/text, rules quotes, etc)?

FLIPPED will only be seen on Obstacles - it is an affect that happens when the card is 'flipped' onto the table, usually during a Scene setup.

REVEALED is part of the effect on Deathtouch -- Look at the top 3 cards of your deck and count the number of BLUE cards. Return them to where they came from (top of deck), reordering them if you want to.

So the revealing same as the flipping?
Ilike to use the revealed instead of flipped in my translation of the game cards, if the reveal do not different from the flip for the game mechanic.

Reveal and Flip are NOT the same.

How do you derive that they are the same from the above information?

Flip happens when that card is brought into play.

Reveal is done as a check, but then the cards are returned to where they came from.

Though both involve 'looking at a card', they are not similar.

This might be a language thing, which I accept, but I recommend not conflating the two concepts if not necessary.

Both Flipped and Reveal mechanics are explained in the rulebook's glossary.

Are you writing your own translation of the game?
