Adventurers is a basic roll and move game, apparently given away free by the Disney Store a few years ago.

You play one of four Disney characters (Tarzan, Peter Pan, Aladdin or Captain Hook) and the aim of the game is to collect four tokens from the four corners of the board before making your way to the centre of the board to pick up the final, winning token.

Gameplay couldn't really be much simpler. After rolling to see who goes first, you take it in turns to roll the dice and move around the board. There are a couple of minor hazards (reversing direction and missing a turn) but nothing to seriously slow you down. The game is listed as taking 20 minutes to play but even will a full compliment of players, it probably should play in half that time.

The quality of the components is reasonable. The tokens and the playing pieces are printed on medium-weight card and the illustrations, being Disney, are well done. The board however, is disappointing. Apart from the illustrations of the characters, it's uninspiring and it's made of lightweight card which doesn't look as if it will stand up to much use.

Overall, it's a basic game that the kids might enjoy but if you're looking for adventure, I'd suggest you look elsewhere.
