I'm trying to summarise for myself what content to use with what in the base game and the expansions, and below is an attempt to make an overview of it all.
The plan is to print the list out and put it in the box, so that when we decide to play we don't have to read through multiple rule books to find out what to use with what when setting up the game, and instead can just choose "Right, we will play with expansion "X" today, what do we need, and what can/may we use with that?".

Please add more "don't forgets" that I have missed and correct me where I'm wrong so that it becomes correct!

---------------------------
SETUP GUIDE
---------------------------
Always true:
- Use all Ads you would like in any combination (both from base game and any number of expansions)
- Use all Stars you would like in any combination (both from base game and any number of expansions)
- Mix a Network card deck of your choice (Only Regular cards, or Regular combined with Interactive and/or Advanced) (both from base game and any number of expansions)
---------------------------
The Networks (base game)
- Use only Shows from the Base game (take out/put in Shows accordingly to player number)
---------------------------
The Networks: On the Air
- Mix these shows with the Base game Shows OR Executives (w/o More Executives) (take out/put in Shows accordingly to player number)
- Use the base game content OR Executives, depending on what Shows you use.
(On The Air is not compatible with Telly Time)
---------------------------
The Networks: Telly Time
- Use only Shows from the Telly Time expansion (take out/put in Shows accordingly to player number)
- Use the Bingo cards
- Use the base game content OR Executives
- replace Good Branding and Market Research Network cards in base game with the ones that come with Telly Time
---------------------------
The Networks: Executives + More Executives
- Use only Shows from the Executives and More Executives expansion (take out/put in Shows accordingly to player number)
- Do not use the starting shows, instead draft the Pilot Shows
- Use the Executives Board instead of the regular player boards
- Use the Mogul cards
- Use the Executives cards

I just started to make a setup matrix for myself to clear up all the frankly confusing and convoluted variations on setup due to various combinations of expansions when I saw your post. Thanks so much for taking this on!

Correction (?): the rule sheet for Telly Time says you can use it with Executives, so the "Use the base game content otherwise" portion is incorrect.

Addition/question: is there info on how to incorporate On the Air with Executives expansion show cards? You probably don't just throw them in like you do with the base game show cards, right?

Are you trying to make a complete guide to setup or just rough outlines? If the former there are missing details such as for Telly Time you replace Good Branding and Market Research Network cards in base game with the ones that come with Telly Time.

Like I said I'm just now trying to put this all together in my head, let alone put together an actual guide, so I could definitely be wrong and almost definitely have incomplete knowledge of all the valid combos and how they are setup.

Thank you for your input! I have updated the list with your corrections.

I would like it to be a complete guide that will make it easy to get an overview of what goes with what. It is way to cumbersome to read multiple rulebooks every time just to know how to set up a game.
The plan is to upload a pdf in the file section with the information when it's done, so it will be easy to find.

I haven't found any information about incorporating On The Air with Executives that says it is different from when adding it to base game, however, I might very well have missed it.

I've asked a question about On the Air + Executives in the Executives forum, so we'll see. Hopefully we'll get a definitive answer from Gil.

The reason I think it might not be as straightforward as just throwing in all the cards like you do with the base game is that the Executives show deck has equal number of all genres in order for the Generalist and Specialist executives to have a fair chance. Source: this discussion on the topic of using base game show cards with the rest of Executives content, which might be another thing worth adding to the setup guide as an acceptable variant. For instance how does the Eternal Zest show card fit in since it's its own genre (grey background, not one of the regular 6 genres) and counts as 5 shows of said genre?

I'm also wondering if any of the OTA Network or Star cards need to be tossed or modified when playing with Executives. Wouldn't think so, but looking at Telly Time for example I don't want to assume.
