- Different start positions.
Easiest, but hard to balance

- After a respawn you get also a survival card.
Should be regular, otherwise the death toll rises hard.

- Alien may only play a hunt card if it did not catch a hunted last round
Balance should be good, as good aliens do not need the hunt cards and not so good are boosted.

- Hunted may opt to draw a survival card or get a will instead of taking back a place card.
Low impact but give the hunted more options to choose from.

- Hide communication.
The alien doesn't understand whatever the 25th century speaks. Not easy to accomplish. However the alien listening to the hunted just leads to silence among the hunted.

What are you trying to do with this variant?

It seems that all those changes are directed toward nerfing the alien, when he is experienced but humans are not?

For this I will probably go with a more simple solution of giving 1 more survival card at the start...but every change can really snowball the game for one side.

For clarification, the above variants are alternatives. Only one should be applied.

In a beginners game the alien holds all the aces. Experience mitigates this, but to frustrate hunted is a sure way not to gather experience.
