Hi

Can you play this game with one person controlling two heroes, is it
difficult or easy?

The designer commented in an earlier thread that the game is balanced around each person only controlling one character. So in a two player game you would have one person controlling Mordak as the bad guy, and one person controlling a hero of their choice as the good guy. You do not need to control two heroes.

Yes, as Josh mentioned, the game is designed so you each play as one hero, regardless of player count. If you prefer to play multiple heroes, cause you like the feel with more characters on the board, that is totally doable, just not a requirement to play.

Regarding how difficult it would be if you did choose to control multiple heroes, it is easy enough! Especially if you choose a spellcaster and a non-caster combo (so you aren't managing 2 spell-hands at once)!
