Hello all,
My name is Vangelis Bagiartakis and I am the designer of Freedom!, an upcoming card-driven wargame by PHALANX based on the Third Siege of Messolonghi that took place during the Greek War of Independence.
It features asymmetric play, it is based on true events and I believe it really captures the feel of a siege for both parties involved.

We have been developing this game at PHALANX and I'd be happy to offer more insight on the choices we've made to the game's presentation. I think we took quite unusual approach to what in fact is a very modern wargame.
