Frankly...
I did not - and still not - want to feed the people who claimed that Descent2 would not get any more content over the past 1.5 years.
First FFG stated Descent2 tripled its sales after the solo App hit the stores and then we had a REPRINT of everything very recently, a new App Campaign besides the self generating Delve adventures and now a new print expansion which gives the game dozens of new combo classes.
Tldr : Players have no clue.
And btw... even without any new printed content, the Delve Quest mechanic offers 10 fold more play than any hardcore Descent2 fan will ever encounter in his upcoming Descent2 gaming for the next 2 decades.
I even doubt a single person will be able to absorb all possible random generated Delve Quest adventures ... ever. Compared to the very limited number of possible Gloomhaven scenarios (a laughable mere 100), I think this dungeon crawler game will be forever in my collection.
Have fun

[...]I love Descent too, but this comparison is not fair: you are completely ignoring the fact that Gloomhaven has random generated scenarios too.

Sure, the 6 stages you will face in any single Delve adventure are randomly selected, but that's from a pool of 31 normal stages and 17 Lieutenant 'boss' stages (if you have all the expansions).
So the probability of repeating a whole Delve is pretty small, but you're going to end up replaying stages pretty regularly...
Don't get me wrong, I'm a big fan of the Delve and it's replayability value, but it isn't endless

cant understand why FFG haven't released a set of monster AI cards..like they have for the solo addons?...could do cards for AI and adventure random cards. like gloomhaven and s&s etc have done..makes the game a lot less linear.

You don’t know any specs about the upcoming end bosses and mobs combos while you are leveling your gear. “Shit will always distort your plans”.
That is what makes it endless replayable in solo mode.

I remember when the original Dominion core set came out, and excited fans calculated that there are over 3 million combinations of cards possible, so you'd never need to play the same setup twice. It would always be fresh, and wouldn't even need the inevitable expansions.
Well, if you've never played Dominion, I promise that the core set will start feeling stale way before you've played 3 million times. Randomized permutations are no substitute for new content.
That said, I'm ok with the current Descent content, mainly because I'm running out of room to store it all.
