I had a few nagging questions regarding vassals when only playing with 3-4 players:

1) If only playing with 3 people, do you still use House Arryn, even though that would mean one player has to control 2 vassals per turn???

2) Do all vassals even need to be controlled by someone each turn???

3) If not, then what happens when a player uses his personal army to attack a vassal that isn't controlled by anyone that turn???

4) If no one controls a vassal, and a Westeros card regarding mustering or supplies is drawn, does it effect them???

5) If so, who gets to decide what happens to them if no one controls them that turn???

From the rules, page 4:

Three Player Game: If playing with only three
players, the set of vassal order tokens for the fourth
vassal is assigned to the player on the highest position
of the Iron Throne, who thus starts the game with two sets.

So 1) Yes (and all the other questions are irrelevant)

For 2-5:
Quote:
The last player on the track cannot pass and must command all
remaining vassals.
