What the designer says

From the game’s introduction: “Marine! is a squad level tactical game based on small actions over the last 40 years. Besides being a game on small actions, Marine! emphasizes the last stage of such operations, getting out of the mess. Additionally, Marine! touches on conventional actions and special actions such as rescues.”

What the reviewers say

“Forerunner of Airborne!, but on marine operations. Nine scenarios include rescue of POWs, installation raids, and an Army/Marine exercise…. Neat tactical game with some very interesting subjects.” (Charles Vasey in Palmer, The Comprehensive Guide to Board Wargaming)
