Our favorite games with my daughter (2,8) are:

Katamino

Fishing games

I hope you both love them!

I started my two year old on HABA, Gamewright, Ravensburger Spieleverlag GmbHand Blue Orange Games games.
Animal Upon Animal
The Little Orchard
Make 'n' Break
Gobblet Gobblers
Crafty Badger

Or any games with tiles or chunky wooden pieces.

My kids are now two and four and we play (and play with) lots of games.

Isn't playing peek-a-boo a game?

I've played Feed the Kitty with a 3 year old, and it would likely work with someone a bit younger.

When my daughter was 2 she loved "Playing" Jenga and Connect Four. Also, any game with figures. Xia: Legends of a Drift System was a hit.

It was mostly an activity more than a real game but now, at 7, she's a hard-core gamer. We just did Viticulture Essential Edition last night.
