Hello,
We played today at haunt #29 and did not all understand the same thing in the book "secrets of survival", paragraph "use the helm" concerning this sentence: "If the traitor is judged, they can gain 1 in any trait."
Who is "they" ? Heroes or traitor(s) ?
there may be a second traitor with an "otherworlds" card, so "they" could be about the traitor(s). We played it as if it were heroes but the game seemed unbalanced in our favor.

"They" is the traitor. In American English, "they" is quickly becoming the standard for a singular person of indeterminate, unknown, or non-binary gender.

Thank you, we are French and didn't understand this nuance, the traitor had no chance in this haunt since we didn't play with the right rules
