Lumen Fidei is the fifth expansion for T.I.M.E Stories.
This scenario is played in three chapters with unique mechanic around group's faith.

In this particular walkthrough I'll play three player variant with all receptacles of Christian faith.
We will use Michel d'Ailly through this walkthrough.

Used characters:
Mariá Concepción (Enthusiastic Young Nun) - 1 Dexterity, 2 Combat, 3 Diplomacy
/ 1 Resistance, 2 Life Points, 2 Blue tokens
/ Passion: Discard 1 blue token to use this ability:
María galvanizes other receptacles making combat tests on her space, each of them gaining an additional die during the next combat roll.

Johann Krieg (Teutonic Knight) - 1 Dexterity, 4 Combat, 1 Diplomacy
/ 3 Resistance, 4 Life Points, 1 Blue token
/Endurance: Discard 1 blue token to use this ability:
During a combat test, Johann isn't affected by heart shields (treating them as normal shields).
The blue token must be spent before the dice roll.

Francisco (Conscientious Secretary) - 4 Dexterity, 1 Combat, 2 Diplomacy
/ 1 Resistance, 2 Life Points, 2 Blue toknes
/ Skill: Discard 1 blue token to use this ability:
Francisco automatically passes a Dexterity test.

FIRST RUN

CHAPTER I

Three characters of Christian faith means Pious degree on Faith table
/ that means 2 additional dice on all tests for characters of Christian faith

[10TU] Beach
a) all Agents go to C where we take Item 1 (Michel d'Ailly), he'll be accompanying Mariá Concepción

[-2TU move to Chapter House]

[8TU] Chapter House
a) Francisco on C uses blue token
/ he automatically passes a Dexterity test without spending TU and takes Item 9 (A Seal Ring)
/ group faith level lowers by one degree by this test
b) other Agents on B take Item 3 (plan with new locations)

[-2TU move to Underground Passage]

[6TU] Underground Passage
a) Mariá with Michel d'Ailly on C reveal E, group faith level goes to Pious
b) other Agents on D take Items 7 (A Gold Key) and 10 (a carafe of wine)

[-2TU move to Stables]

[4TU] Stables
a) all Agents are on B, we discard Item 10 and take Diplomacy test with 3 shields
b) Mariá rolls with 5 dice and she's also get 2 * from Michel d'Ailly [-1TU]
c) if needed, other Agents roll against remaining shields
d) all Agents move to C [-1TU]
e) on C we use Item 7 and release Melchisédech to take grey square token
f) all Agents move to E [-1TU]
g) on E we reveal F, we choose to keep Michel d'Ailly
/ open Location 2 without rolling the TIME Captain die

[1TU] Location 2
a) unfortunately we run out of TIME, this Location cannot be completed within 1 TU
b) draw Chapter I Mission Failed (TU) card
c) we start from beginning but with 20 TU this time

We will follow same steps again and arrive to Location 2 with around 11 TU left.

SECOND RUN

[11TU] Location 2
a) Johann Krieg on B rolls with 6 dice against Combat test (5 skulls, 1 heart) [-1TU]
/ I suppose Johann loses one or two lifepoints and some shields still remain on B
b) Mariá on C rolls with 3 dice against Dexterity test with 2 shields
c) Francisco on D uses his final blue token and automaticcaly passes a Dexterity test
/ then he moves to C or D according to situation
d) Johann Krieg on B rolls against remaining shields [-1TU]
e) when all tests are done, whole group moves to E [-1TU]
f) We open Chapter II!

CHAPTER II

We find a portable time convector that gives us 10 TU, so we are now on 18 TU (more-or-less).

[-2TU move to Location 3]

[16TU] Location 3
a) Black Guard from Location 11 moves to Location 8 (if we roll 2 on TIME Captain die)
b) Black Guard from Aragon catches us, we must first resolve Black Guard card
b) Johann discards his blue token to ignore the heart shields and rolls with 6 dice [-1TU]
c) if the Time shield still remains on Combat test we lose another time unit [-1TU]
d) Mariá rolls with 4 dice, it's possible she loses life point
e) if the Time shield still remains on Combat test we lose another time unit [-1TU]
f) if needed Mariá spends her blue token and Franscisco rolls against remaining shields with 4 dice
g) after Black Guard is defeated we use Item 9 on Location 3 to get escort from Knights of the Order of Santiago

[-2TU move to Location 10]

[11TU] Location 10
a) Black Guard from Location 8 moves to a hamlet south of Priory (if 2 on TIME Captain die)
b) all Agents are on B and with the help of Michel d'Ailly we get Item 17 (María takes this item)

[-2TU move to Priory]

[9TU] Priory
a) second Black Guard catches us but we can discard the brown token thanks to Location 3 card
b) all Agents on C recover their maximum life points and blue tokens

[-3TU move to Location 5]

[6TU] Location 5
a) all Agents on C must make the Dexterity test individually [-1TU]
/ roll +2 extra dice if you have finished A Prophecy of Dragons
b) don't hesitate to use benefit of Item 17 if needed (but only by 1 receptacle within 1 TU)
c) once the test is passed by all agents, the group goes to Location 18 without rolling the Time Captain die

[5TU] Location 18
a) if you have some TU to spare you can get fancy sword on C
/ just be sure that Michel and his accompanying receptacle don't stand on C
b) we skip C this time and all Agents go to B and discard Item 17 to reveal D and get to Chapter III

CHAPTER III

[5TU] Puerta
a) all Agents on D roll against Diplomacy test with 2 shields [-1TU]
b) we reveal E and with mini-temporal convector get additional 10 TU
c) roll 4 dice, each * gives you 1 more TU (i'll go with zero *)
d) all Agents move to B [-1TU]
e) Franscisco spends 1 blue token and automatically passes a Dexterity test
f) take Item 22 (plan with Location 4)

[-2TU move to Location 4]

[11TU] Location 4 (Bab-el-Ramla)
a) Johann on C discards blue token and rolls six dice against Combat test (4 skulls, 2 hearts) [-1TU]
b) Mariá on C rolls against remaining shields with 4 dice
c) Francisco on D spends 2TU to get access to Location 13 [-2TU]
d) after test on C defeated reveal E to take Item 14 (plan with Location 14)

[-2TU move to Location 13]

[6TU] Location 13
a) all Agents go to C, there's a Combat test with 3 skulls, 1 heart shield
b the receptacle with most life points rolls first [-1TU]
c) other Agents roll if needed, then move to B [-1TU]
d) the series of numbers will be key to verses of Ibn-al-Jatib

[-2TU move to Location 14]

[2TU] Location 14
a) Francisco on E spends blue token to pass the test and reveal G
/ we learn that ascending order is crucial
b) other Agents on D learn about 'one too many on the 5th number'
c) now look at the verses on card A
/ use the numbers from Location 13 as corresponding relative positions of letters (10 instead of 11 on 5th number)
d) Search in the box - take Item 15 (permanent plan with Location 15)

[-2TU move to Location 15]

End of run. Draw Chapter III Mission Failed (TU) card.
Keep your receptacles as well as their Items, and restore the starting amount of LP and blue tokens.

SECOND RUN

[5TU] Puerta
a) all Agents on D roll against Diplomacy test with 2 shields [-1TU]
b) we reveal E and with mini-temporal convector get additional 10 TU
c) roll 4 dice, each * gives you 1 more TU (I'll go with zero *)

[-2TU move to Location 15]

[12TU] Location 15

From the diagram found in the box eliminate the sets of identically colored tokens adjacent to each other via an edge or corner.
From the remaining state tokens disregard those with two shapes. Only three state tokens remain.

We learnt that ascending order is crucial. Place grey token on B, green token on C and blue token on D.
We sucessfully pass all spaces without spending TUs and move to Location 16.

[-2TU move to Location 16]

[10TU] Location 16

This will be very tense and tight fight.
It's entirely possible that some of the characters will die.

a) discard Item 1 and take Item 19 (Archangel Michael)
b) Mariá goes to E.
c) Johann (with Item 19) and Francisco goes to F - Combat test (6 skulls, 1 heart)
d) we discard one blue token from Item 19, that doubles the * rolled on F
e) Johann spends his blue token (to ignore heart shields) and rolls with 6 dice [-1TU]
e) if Johann rolled at least one skull he loses 1 Life Point (two skulls on B)
f) time shield on C is unocuppied [-1TU]
g) if there are no more shields on F Francisco moves to E
/ otherwise Francisco on F rolls with 3 dice against remaining shields
h) if Francisco rolled at least one skull he is dead
i) time shield on C is unocuppied [-1TU]
/ 3 TU spend in this location, card D is now accessible
j) Mariá on E decides to take black token and move to C

k) Johann and Francisco move to D [-1TU]
l) Mariá on C rolls with 5 dice against Diplomacy test (4 skulls, 2 time)
m) I suppose she loses life point and group loses 2TU from remaining time shields
n) Johann and Francisco (if he lives) on D reveal G to do Combat test (7 skulls, 7 skulls, 1 heart)
o) we discard final blue token from Item 19, that doubles the * rolled on G

p) Johann rolls with 6 dice, if he rolls at least 1 skull he loses 2 life points [-1TU]
q) Francisco (if he lives) rolls with 3 dice, if he rolls at least 1 skull he dies
r) Mariá on C rolls with 5 dice against remaining shields on Diplomacy test

s) if needed Johann rolls with 6 dice on G [-1TU]

I hope the test on G is defeated and we can take Item 21!
We acquire the gemstone and read green Mission Successful card.

MISSION POINTS
25 MP
+20 MP if you have kept Michel d'Ailly until the end of the mission
---
45 MP: 1 pink beacon, 1 blue, and 1 green.
Then, whatever your score is, take Item 24.
