Hi guys, so my friends and i finished our first mission yesterday and found a couple of questions

Feudal village: How does it work, do you automatically go there after each mission. We failed our mission what happens then? do we go to the village, and do we start there next time?

How do we sell items. The overview sheet states that you can "sell darkstone" but nowhere could we see a place where you could sell items?

Trederran veteran: Upgrade paths. So in the adventure book there is an upgrade chart / path for the 4 main heroes. What about Trederran veteran and Sumo do they not have an upgrade chart?

Ranged enemy units (Tsubake cannon) We can into this enemy twice and was not entirly sure how many shots it had. It said combat: 4, but as far as we gathered the combat value is only for melee fights?

hope you guys can help answer some of the questions, this is without a doubt a super fun game

Upgrade paths: you can find the leaflets in the same box of KS exclusives, where you found the character sheets, starting upgrades and equipment cards

Feudal Village: Once you complete your mission, you roll for travel hazards(1d6 for each hero, any dice with a 1-2 is an event - see the travel hazard chart). You are then at the village. You always go to the village, sometimes the mission fail info and/or hazards will limit the village (destroying locations etc).

You can just sell items for half what you paid for them (if bought items) or their printed value (for items on cards).
Darkstone you can sell at one of the locations for d6x$25, it should be on one of the summary cards.

Promo-Characters should have 1 page leaflets as Citron mentioned

I'm don't have the cannon and I'm not sure of the stats, but Combat is specifically close-combat. It should have rules printed on the card?

Thanks for the clarification, so you still roll for travel hazards after loosing a mission ( in your way to the village?)

Yes, wether you win or lose as mission doesn't change the travel/village visits, unless there is something specific in the mission failure section that states otherwise. Failing some missions, you ignore travel and the village and go straight to the next adventure/mission for example.

For the tsakobake cannon, there is a reference card with more information on how it fires.
The enemy card should explain how many shots it has and the ref card explains just how that shot works

If you're selling an item that has a $ value, you can sell it at any location in the village for that amount - but you need to go somewhere in the village, as you might get an event that affects whether or not you can sell it.

There are only two places you can sell dark stone. I think that one is the market and the other is the guard house. At each location you sell it for a different amount - one has a higher potential value and the other has a higher minimum amount, as you roll different dies against different multipliers.

This is not quite right. You don't need to be at a Location to sell stuff - you just have to be IN Town. Technically you're able to sell stuff immediately completing the Travel Phase.

From the FoFo Rules:
FoFo RAW, p. 31 wrote:
Selling Items

While in Town, a Hero may elect to sell any Item card they have for the amount of Gold listed in the bottom right corner of the card. Discard the card and add the Gold value to your Hero. This can be done at any time, regardless of where in Town you are.

The sheet for the takobake cannon states that it attacks each hero adjacent with the combat value (combat in SoB is *always* melee), if there are none, it fires its special ranged attack (explosive cannon ball, there is a card with detailed rules). Look at the two guys with the cannon, they obviously try to get people out of the way first so they can fire the gun in peace.
