Tales of Canitaurs is a cooperative dungeon crawl board game from Punga Miniatures and talented artist Nikita Orlov. The game is based on the characters of "Canitaurs and Felitaurs", DnD miniatures project from the same company.

This is a fabulous adventure with a deep storyline in which players will become Canitaurs – centaur dogs which are famous for their kindness and honesty.

Genre: Dungeon crawl
Players: 2-4, best for 4
Playing time: 60-120 min
Age: 7+
Designers: Timur Baiguskarov, Rim Mukhamadeev, Jamil Isimov
Artist: Nikita Orlov

Attribute tokens in bags

The game uses 4 types of tokens, corresponding to the attributes of the Canitaurs - Strength, Agility, Intelligence, Will. Each player, depending on the chosen hero, will have a bag with tokens, the number of tokens of each type corresponds to the value of this attribute of the hero.

At the beginning of their turn, each player takes three random tokens from the bag. Using that tokens, players perform actions, unused tokens can be used in subsequent turns. Usually, the result of an action depends on the type of tokens spent on this action, for example, if you spend an Agility token on a move action, the number of hexes the hero can move will increase. Some actions can be paid with any tokens, while others require a specific type of token or even a combination (for example, Intelligence + Will).

Monster AI - trigger system

The monster checks certain conditions and performs an action that matches the first correct condition. When a monster is activated, special luck cubes are used, which give additional features to the monster for one turn and determine its attack variants.

The game contains 17 different missions on the main storyline, among them tactical combat missions, mini-games, text quests, and boss fights.
