The "Off" chains are Japanese 2nd-hand stores. Book-Off sells used books, CDs, DVDs, etc; Garage-Off sells car stuff, bicycles, etc; Hard-Off* sells audio gear, instruments, electronics and video game stuff. Very popular with retro video gamers. You'll find a ton of YouTube videos from people wandering and bargain hunting if interested.

Not sure which branch sells used board games.

* Short for Hardware I think. As with many things Japanese, doesn't quite make sense to my western mind.

When I lived in Japan I went to Book Off all the time. Got loads of brilliant CDs from my time there for just a few hundred yen at a time.
