Dice Rolls
See PBF Dice Roller for intro. You can try it out using the Preview option. It will be a little different when posted, use the Testing forum if you want to see the final result.

Quick Summary: Red is damage die, Blue is accuracy die, Green is balanced die, Yellow is surge die.








The geekroller (the Roll button on the editor) can roll 3 different custom dice. You can roll doubles with one custom dice string by prepending 2 instead of 1.

You generally also roll the defense die/dice for attacks. If there is just one defense die, you often can fit it into the same roll with the attack dice. Also remember to comment the roll, preferably with the target and distance, and do not edit the post with the roll unless you really need to.

Aftermath
As the first team's transport rocketed towards the transmission, a crackle erupted from their commlink—a woman’s voice, with the hint of an accent.

"Valkyrie Cell, this is Splinter Five. ComScan detected four separate transmissions from your area of interest. Good news - there is a heavy rain storm in the area that should conceal your approach. If you are quiet enough, you may be able to get within spitting distance of the guards before you open fire."

"Following that, though, no time to be subtle – go in heavy and destroy any terminals or communications equipment you can find. Final reminder: you have only a brief span to conduct your operation before we anticipate a massive Imperial response."

"One note: be on the lookout for any documents or supplies that can give us a clue about what their plans may be."

Good hunting and straight shooting. Splinter Five, out."

Their pilot twisted the controls and the transport settled in a clearing. Pulling a lever to open the ramp, Mils turned and appraised the team. “Hey, guys--uh, gals--good luck!”

Mission briefing
The team advanced toward their target. Having landed a couple of kilometers away, they snuck towards their target through the wrath of the driving rainstorm. Sheets of water sliced through the canopy overhead as they neared the temple and sighted the patrols guarding it.

There was no time for caution. The attack began, and with it began the chain of events that led to the discovery of the Empire’s future plans...


◆ A Rebel figure can attack a terminal (Health:4, Defense: 1
). Apply +1
to the terminal's defense result if it is adjacent to 1 or more Imperial figures.
◆ Doors are locked to Imperial figures.
◆ The mission ends when all terminals are destroyed (mb objective), at the end of Round 6, or when all heroes are wounded.



Decide on hero starting locations and take the first activation when ready! I will be able to post a map update about once per day on average, usually in the mornings (U.S. Pacific Time), but weekends will be trickier.

I like this. Do we open with Murne false orders on Larry to shoot Moe (use experimental arms), then follow up with a shot on Larry? Or maybe Verena?

Oddly enough, it is the Ithorian diplomat who strikes first. Striding through the underbrush in her robes, she manipulates her electronics array, finding a link within one of the guards' weapons. It erupts, lancing fire into his companion before backfiring, arcing electricity everywhere. In his disoriented state, he is easy prey for a single shot from Murne, who drops him.

Turning to the others, the Ithorian bellows and motions forward.




The lone remaining Stormtrooper reacts quickly, to his credit. Sighting the incoming Rebels, he fires a few bolts in their direction before ducking back towards the compound.

Activate Curly in C5.

: Gain 4 mp.

Spend 1 mp to move to C4.

: Attack Verena, range 2.

All i see:

Tress or Ko-tun probably do 4 damage on probe droid. Probe can recover 1 after that.

Verena can move and attack Stormie and hopefully CQ officer.

I am okay with all three options, maybe someone has another idea.

We want to take down the probe droid before it activates to minimise the damage from the next activation.

I think Ko-Tun has the best chance. With two shots and an extra damage from a token, she's 23% for 5+, but with rerolls that'd likely shift up to about 50%. If Ko-Tun goes first then either Tress or Verena get a damage token to use when they activate.

Keeping her rifle trained on the sounds of battle ahead, with one hand Ko-Tun brushed the remaining foliage aside to reveal the battle unfolding in the clearing before her. She glanced at Murne and nodded with a half-smile as she noticed the smoke-trail from the barrel of her blaster. Clearly she had spent more time that she admitted down on the practice range with that thing – Master of more than ‘Intelligence’ it would seem.

Ko-Tun cast aside her musing as she noticed an Imperial probe droid deployed directly ahead. It appeared to be activating targeting sensors. “No, you don’t…” the quartermaster whispered as she squeezed off her first shot. It was great to be back in the field again.

Bullseye! Just like the training range. Scratch that, MUCH better than the training range thought Ko-Tun as the probe droid dropped with a single, precise shot smoking in the underbrush.



Accuracy OK.
5mb v. 1
= 5mb to Probe Droid (defeated)

OK. Wasn't anticipating that kind of roll

What to do with 2nd action? Strain forward to C4 gives less than 26% to one-shot the officer, although that is without a reroll. Cower rerolls always scare me though. Can also shoot the ST from C4 but that is not a high chance of doing 3 damage to remove it either. Shoot terminal?
