We just finished episode 5 of the campaign (loving it - this game is so great!).

The player who won, by defeating the Annihilator in the Factory, was playing the Vesna faction.

The rules suggest that this player switches to play the new Fenris faction for Episode 6 - and that when they do so, they keep all the mods from their previous faction.

I'm wondering if that is correct - because the Vesna faction has LOTS of mech mods, compared to any other faction, thus the already seemingly strong Fenris faction becomes (potentially) even stronger (through a greater choice of mech mods).

Vesna’s mech powers are not mech mods. It is a native part of the faction. They are shaded blue to indicate they are only used by Vesna.

When the game refers to mech mods, it refers to something else. Mech mods were unlocked after episode 2, but only if you voted for was after episode 1.

The blue Mech Mods belong to the Vesna faction and don't transfer - only the brown ones that the player brought transfer.
