In our most recent play we used the mission cards.

One player had a mission with a potential reward that read "When using a Contact card, Pay $2 more to not flip it after use."

He had the "General Store" which allows the taking of income. Most of the rewards are careful to include the "Once per day" language but this reward didn't contain that language. What stops him from repeatedly using that card over and over to achieve an unlimited score? Needless to say, we didn't permit this. I understand that you want the ability to be available more than once per day; the extra $2 cost becomes very limiting on every other contact card.

On that same mission card a different reward reads "Once per day, use a contact card without paying for it." The question arose about if notoriety gains associated with the use of the contact cards were also subject to this benefit? FYI We ruled that you he only would save the cash.

Thanks

As far as the second question: For using Contacts in the rules, gaining Notoriety is a different step than paying the "cost" its cost.

Came across the same issue today - Infinite money hacks with that mission card/contact pairing ^^.

We just decided it was once/day and that they ran out of space to put the extra text on the card.
