When a fight starts it immediately ends the current turn and starts a new one. So the gunslinger reveals an attack, you end the gunslingers turn and then start a new turn by rolling to hold back the darkness.

Is this the rule: "Enemies appearing Mid-Turn" But it say its for an ambush attack. We use this for a normal attack aswell?

There is all kinds of misunderstanding here. Rather than address each thing individually, it will be easier to explain how a Turn works:

A Turn in Brimstone has 4 phases.

1) Hold Back the Darkness
2) All Models Activate <---- Map Tiles are usually revealed here, as a result of Heroes activating
3) Exploration <---- Encounters are handled here (including Advanced Encounters)
4) End of Turn

If a Fight starts in Phase 2 (Models Activate), you reset the Turn and no one else gets to go. This doesn't happen very often, because Attacks and Encounters usually don't trigger until Phase 3.

If a Fight starts any other time, just continue on with the Turn as normal. In the OP's case, the Gunslinger will reveal the Tile (Steam Pipes) on Phase 2 (Models Activate). A face-down Exploration Token will then be added to the tile. Then all the other Heroes will go (including the Nun). Then Phase 3 begins (Exploration). All Exploration Tokens will then turn face-up (in this case, there will be 1). Any Advanced Encounters for any Rooms that contain exploration tokens will now be added to their respective Exploration Tokens. In this case, that means the Encounter "Steam Clouds" is added to whatever else is on that 1 Token (Doors, Attacks, more Encounters, etc). Players must now resolve all Encounters from the token (including the Advanced ones), in any order they like. Any Enemies that result from this will be added to the board after ALL Encounters are resolved. In this case, Steam Clouds generates a Hell Vermin, and at the end of Phase 3 (Exploration) that model is added to the Board. A Fight has now technically begun in Phase 3, but because it's not Phase 2 (Models Activate) we can just proceed on to Phase 4 (End of Turn) and then begin a new Turn after any end-of-turn effects have been resolved.

The new Turn will begin with Phase 1 (Hold Back the Darkness), and then proceed to Phase 2 (Models Activate). First the Hell Vermin will go (Enemies beat Heroes in the case of a tie). Then the Gunslinger will go. Then the Nun. Then Phase 2 will be over. Phase 3 is skipped during Fight Turns, so Phase 4 will come next. The Turn will then start over. If at any point during the Fight the Board no longer has Enemies on it, then Fight ends immediately and players catch their breath and draw loot. Any other parts of THAT Turn leftover (like Heroes who had yet to Activate) are skipped and the game proceeds directly to Phase 4 (End of Turn). Then the Turn starts over and players resume Exploring.

Hope this helps!

- Jee

NOTE: Although Fights usually begin near the end of Turns, a "Fight Turn" means "one full Turn during a Fight." This means that the "First Turn of a Fight" is always the Turn that starts immediately following the Turn that the Fight actually begins on (since the definition of when a Fight begins is "Enemies hit the board"). It's a little odd to have the Fight technically start on a Turn that isn't considered to be a "Fight Turn" but there you have it. To illustrate this difference, consider the old Quickdraw vs. the errata'ed Quickdraw. If the Gunslinger has Quickdraw (the errata'ed version), then he WILL go before the Hell Vermin on the following Turn (First Turn of a Fight). If the players are using the OLD version of Quickdraw, however, then rather than gain extra Init on the following Turn the Gunslinger will instead make an "extra" Attack in the current Turn, immediately after the Enemies hit the board (Start of a Fight).
