The Swamp Raptor has Tough so it is immune to critical hits. The one I played this weekend also picked up the elite ability of Swiping Tail which increases the to-hit target number for heroes if adjacent. This is all fine, but the wording at the end of Swiping Tail had me scratching my head. It said natural rolls of 6 are still critical hits. I am confused, there are no critical hits on the Raptor due to Tough. Am I missing something about critical hits? Why is that wording there?

Critical hits won't reduce the raptor's defense, but special abilities that trigger off critical hits still apply.

From the official FAQ:

Quote:
Some Enemies have an ability that makes them ‘Immune to Critical Hits’ (such as Tough). This just means that a Critical Hit assigned to that Enemy is counted as a regular Hit against them (does not ignore their Defense). Any other bonuses triggered for the Hero by rolling a Critical Hit DO still take effect.
