I have been playing but but struggling with getting clarity on the confrontation sequence. Any clarification would be welcome as my group feels we are assuming this and would love to know for sure.

When the confrontation is triggered, the cycle changes.
Is the cycle
1. Enemy phase
- Pull Boss cards
- Activate Boss
- activiate remaining emenies as per rules/case/card)
2. Agent Phase
- As per normal
3. Back to Enemy Phase

Sorry for the stupid question, but we checked the FAQ, rule book and BBG but did not get the clarity we were hoping for.

Yeah, normally the phases are:

Enemy Phase
Agent Phase
Rest Phase
Doom Phase
End Phase

During confrontation, Boss behavior happens at the beginning of Enemy Phase, and there is no Rest or Doom phase. So during confrontation, it's:

Enemy Phase
Agent Phase
End Phase

There's still the End Phase where fire can spread, frogs can hop, etc.

You left out the "Why the hell can't we roll any better?!" Phase
