Hello fellow gamers.
I have a question about Case Perils of the Job

SPOILER AHEAD for CASE#1

Spoiler (click to reveal)
So the layout is (about) like this:
Room A -- Room B -- Room C -- Room D
I I
I I
Room E Room F
I I
I I
Room G -- Room H ----- Room I -- Room J

Room E is unexplored, the rest in explored
Boss and everyone else are in Rooms G & H
Boss behaviour card (I think): spawn 2 monsters in Room A

Will those 2 monsters:
1) Go all the way around to chase the agents
2) "open" (even if doors are neither opened nor closed in this game it seems) the door to Room E, "explore"/spawn the card in it, then go to Room G ?
3) Same than 2) but without activating the card in Room E - that card being still being activable if agents choose to Explore the room ?

Thank you, and happy rolls against those evil lurkers.

Unexplored rooms are off-limits,
so characters can’t move into them, see into them,
attack into them or interact with them in any way
unless the rules explicitly allow them to do so.

1) Enemies cannot explore rooms and no character can enter unexplored rooms. They have to take the long way to get to your agents.

BTW: Please use the name of the case for your thread title. I do not know which case 'case#1' is meant to be.

I think this is Perils of the Job. If that's the right job, there should be the Mystery Room that opens up from the first Point of Interest you interacted with.

Although I suppose it's possible to let the Doom Tracker trigger the confrontation before you interact with the Point of Interest to open up the Mystery Room? I'd have to re-read the case cards to see if this can happen or not.

Thank you. In fact, unless I missed it in the setup, I had no PoI in my game.
And the Confrontation started when the doom Counter reached 8 (?)

Spoiler (click to reveal)
During setup you are instructed to lay out Encounter cards. Two rooms have Encounter cards with specific symbols on them that are different than the other ones in the regular Encounter deck (which you build based on number of players). Two two different symboled cards will spawn a POI.
