After Euphrates & Tigris, Daniel and Lisette left. So I played New England with Paul, Dany and Chantal.
At first, Pierre-Luc concerated getting more people to have more money per turn (he had 4 in all). Pierre-Luc had also a boat to help out incase nothing was appealing to him. He devolep 6 and 10 point cards more in the middle-late game.
Paul had one person too. Most of the game he had 5 of revenu per turn. He also had a few 3 and 6 point cards. Paul had also a boat towards the late of the game.
As for Dany, he had a storage building early in the game and used it a few times. He also had some 6 and 3 point cards. He later got a boat one 10 point card.
As for Chantal, she had a mix of people, and card points of 3, 6 and 10.
For the last turn, it was Pierre-Luc to call what he wanted. He called out 3 tiles and 6 cards. There was exactly 3 tiles and 6 cards left. So we played one last turn.
Being 3rd at that point, Pierre-Luc tried something to give him a shot for the win. He took 7 to play first and get want he wanted. He got a tile to make his last square and a 10 point card he develop the 10 point card. On the other 3 tiles of that squared, Pierre-Luc had 3 people. So he got rid of his boat and 2 people, and put the 3rd guy where he had his boat.
The result was a 7 point difference...and the win. He finished 34 points where Dany and Chantel had 33. Paul was last with 25.
It was a fun and successful night. We were 12 people in all and most of the time, there was 3 games being played at the same time. I can't wait for next month.
