Every so often I can get the fellas at the office to eat-in and play a game. Bang! is the most recent offering and we're having a blast. Everyone has enjoyed playing. Looks to be best with the full complement of seven players. Truly a game most anyone could enjoy, even non-gamers. Our most recent lunch session ended as follows:

The gunfight had raged all through the dusty, windblown town. Four bodies lay strewn about in the streets. Sheriff “Quick-shot” Willy the Kid and his wily deputy Calamity Janet were hunting Vulture Sam, the last remaining outlaw of the vicious gang. The sheriff took the opportunity to place a couple of bullets, his last, into his weapon while cautiously approaching the nearest alley. As he furtively peered around the corner he heard, “Draw Kid” from behind. The Kid whirled, drew and fired, winging Sam in the left shoulder. “You’ll have to do better than that Kid!” snarled Sam. Kid fired again, this time lodging a bullet into Sam’s right thigh. Sam cursed, clasping a hand to where he’d been hit. The Kid just smiled and called out to his deputy for assistance. Sam spat and looked up saying, “Now I’m angry. Say your prayers Sheriff!” Sam fired. The shot missed, flying wide and ricocheted off a wagon at the far side of the street. The Kid’s smile grew wider as sounds of the deputy fast approaching could be heard along with a familiar, yet hard to place hissing noise. Sam’s steely gaze never left the sheriff and again he fired. The slug took the Kid in the arm and his smile wavered just a bit. Another shot from Sam struck the opposite arm, jolting the lawman again and melted his smile completely. Once more the desperado fired his revolver, this time shattering the Kid’s right knee. As the sheriff staggered and stumbled, Sam moved in, raised his revolver and said “Nice knowin' ya Kid”. The Kid’s eyes grew wide. Frantic with fear, he tried to get up and defend himself. Just as the deputy rounded the corner, “Click”, went the gun as Sam pulled the trigger. The Kid looked up with renewed hope in his eyes. Seeing the deputy, Sam took off as fast as his injured leg would allow. The deputy, long out of bullets, had opted to light a stick of dynamite while on the run to the sheriff’s aid. The burning fuse was the hissing noise that had been heard earlier and was even louder now given its close proximity. Janet heaved the tnt in the direction of Sam shouting “You’re not getting away this time you murdering mangy cur!” The bandito followed the arc of the stick with his panic filled eyes. Throwing his gun away in desperation, he reached out for the dynamite and corralled it with his blood stained hands. “Not today” said Sam with a shake of his head and a hate-filled smile as he began to toss the explosive at the severely wounded sheriff. Just at the point of release, the dynamite exploded, ripping Sam to shreds. As the dust settled, the sheriff, smiling wanly at his deputy, said "Dang, girl, not bad. Help me to the saloon - the beer's on me.":)
