It's Thursday, which means it's time to preview the fourth and final print in Series 3!
For previous previews:
The first print for Series 3, featuring Anca Gavril and Gloomhaven.
The second print for Series 3, featuring Mico and Dead of Winter.
The third print for Series 3, featuring Tania Walker and Terraforming Mars.
The final illustration is by none other than Ian O'Toole! You've seen his work on all manner of fantastic looking games!
Check out what he did with Race for the Galaxy:
I'll announce the final cool thing tomorrow, along with the opening of preorders! During the preorder window, you'll be able to order prints from any series in a variety of sizes (24 x 36, 20 x 30, 16 x 24, and 12 x 18). Once the preorder window closes, it will take 1-2 months to receive the prints. At that time, we'll have all prints available for purchase at the 12x18 size.
Looking forward to tomorrow's bonus fun!

- I really cannot express enough how happy I am that this artist series is a thing. Much love to all involved in making this happen.

Another awesome piece of art.
Sad for me personally that I’m not a fan of any of these games. Oh well, my Agricola print will have to wait for Series 4 for a potential partner.

- Not only is this my favourite of the series so far, this is the best piece of board game related art I’ve seen in years. Absolutely gorgeous

- Love the poster, but could someone help me understand what I'm looking at? I've played a lot of RFTG but can't quite place what is being depicted in this image. Are those ships being launched to colonize the cosmos? If so, do the shapes of the ships mean something? Again, love the art, but would like to better understand the interpretation of the game being represented here.

- Internal dilemma. I like Race, but prefer Roll. This art is amazing, but also not sure I want both this and the Terraforming Mars one (two space). Apologies for thinking on keyboard.

The series is about giving the best artists a brief to create a piece of artwork inspired by their favourite games, not to create alternative artwork for said game.
As for this series, this is my favourite of the lot so far and the one I'll buy!

I'm not sure what the ships/flying statues represent though.
I love the game and love the artist, so I'm really excited about this, but I agree that it's probably the poster in all 3 series that is least evocative of the game itself.
