Highlights:

These words are meant to give you a quick indication of my views on the game. Read below to learn more.

Heavy
Quick
Creative
Fun
Pressure

Components:

The game comes with:
900 double sided word tiles
300 word cards
4 modifier sheets
Instructions
1 six sided die

The word tiles are very sturdy and since they are double sided you don't need to worry about flipping them over before a game. The cardboard can take some pressure without bending or tearing. (This is very important as we will see later in the review.)
The cards are sturdy and easy to read. Between the tiles and the cards, the box is much heavier than it looks like it should be.
The modifier sheets have operators like "not", "ing" and "sounds like." As you form your word clues you can point to the operators to clarify your clues. They are laminated and fairly sturdy.
Instructions are well written and easy to follow.
The die is the only cheap piece in the whole game being very light molded plastic. I am swapping it out with a better die that doesn't bounce around so much.

Overall Score:

Theme:

None but it is a word game. Theme isn't important.

Gameplay:

The game is played by 2 or more teams (there are modifier sheets for 4). At the start of each round, the die is rolled and one person on each team is chosen to form the clues. Each team is trying to guess the same word. Typically, a higher die roll means a harder word (bidet, minotaur and Buddha were some of the harder ones we saw). The trick is, you can only give clues with the words from the pile of 900 word tiles. There is only one of each word so if you are looking for one in particular you may have difficulties. The real trick is to recognize the potential in other words and try to combine them. Since there is only one area where the tiles are stored, it quickly became crowded as we all tried to find the tiles we wanted. There was some pushing and some intentional redistribution of the tiles people were looking at to try and hamper other teams. All in good fun of course.

Rating:

Observations:

People who have difficulty with word games may have a harder time with this game.

We decided that hoarding of words that you weren't using should not be allowed so we ruled they should go back in the stack.

This game is truly a blast and can be played quickly and easily. It even cleans up easily.

Overall: (only because there isn't a 3/4 star.)

This game is going to see a lot of play in our group and with family.
