am i using the shot locator wrong? the spotter for the original ball location is off set from the ruler? doesn't that make a huge error in placement of the new ball location? if the shot is stright then it appears the "new location is offset to the right by half a ruler width - and if you rotate the ruler for a hook shot then the shot becomes longer by hooking right and shorter if hooking left? someone give me a clue if i am getting this wrong

Re:Innacurate shot locator?
treece keenes (#47024),

I saw this game in a local antique store for 19 bucks. Is it any good compared to another board game I could buy for the same cost now-a-days, in print?

thanks

ropearoni4 (#59428),

Dude, that's highway robbery. Check the comments. The game sucks. And you can find it for a lot less in thrift stores, on eBay, probably here in the marketplace.

I got mine at the thrift store for $4.

As for the parallax of the shot indicator, that confused me as well at first. However, it seems as though it's a necessary evil to force you to guess at the final location. Without it, it would become a little to easy to gauge distance and get a decent shot on average.

The parallax forces you to "roll your wrists" a little to overcompensate for a slight "fade".

Definitely recommend you pick it up for $4 or less (the shot locator is cool enough to justify that price). But not for $19.
