Need to work on your spelling? Try playing Smart Mouth with a Best Friend Forever! Smart Mouth might be boring for some people, but for others, it's the world's greatest game ever!

How many people are playing? That's how many pads of paper you need. You'll also need some pencils or/and pens to equal that amount. Now it's time to begin! Take the thing-a-ma-jig and slide the top toward you. Then push it back. There should be two letters. Now, you can play Smart Mouth in a few different ways. If you're a beginner, please read on. If you are NOT a beginner, you can keep reading, or exit this page.

The beginner way of playing is really actually pretty simple. All you have to do is look at the two letters, and put 5 words that have the 2 letters on your pad. Once you have 5 words, yell out "ding" or "Smart Mouth". If someone ELSE yells out "ding" or "Smart Mouth" before you can, you must stop writing, unless you are in the middle of a word. Then, you finish the word. But if you have 5 words, and someone has already said "ding" or "Smart Mouth", you may NOT say "ding" or "Smart Mouth". Now take turns reading out your words. If someone says a word that you have, say "got that", and cross it out off your list. If you're reading your words and someone says "got that", you also cross it off your list.

After everyone has told you their words, and you told everyone your words, count up all the words you have on that list, that is not crossed out, and put that number on the top of you pad of paper. Next, take off the 2 letters and do this process ALL over again! When you run out of letters, add up all the numbers on the top of your pad of paper and call out the answer. Who ever has the most points, wins!
