Unfortunately Christmas games would only sell for a short period of time and game companies would rather make a game themed for year round interest.
I still think Christmas versions of existing games would be great.
Carcassone set at the north pole?

Doesn't this look wonderfully Christmas-like? Too bad the DoW lame-os are only releasing it in Scandinavia! *bitter sigh*

I think antarctica would be a much better theme. Penguin markers instead of people would be so cool. We'd have to call them menguins.

What would the markers be for a north pole game? Melves?

"Only selling for a short time" can't be the issue; something like 90% of games and toys are sold in the 8 weeks before Christmas.
